Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. The hire charge quoted provides for the completion of the journey(s) to \ from the destination(s),

within the times and by the route stated and does not include tolls and parking charges. The hirer

will be responsible for payment of any charges consequential upon variation of time, route or

destination.

2. The reservation will be finalised only upon receipt at the company's office of the non-returnable

50% deposit or by payment in full. The company reserves the right to cancel any booking that

has not been confirmed in this way.

3. The balance will be payable at least 7 days prior to the journey, (except by prior arrangement).

4. Luggage and personal effects of passengers are carried totally at the owners’ risk.

5. No responsibility can be accepted by the company for any delays or inconvenience caused by

circumstances beyond its control.

6. It is illegal to carry or consume alcohol on a public service vehicle, it may however be

Stowed in the underside luggage area.

7. Smoking is not permitted in the company vehicles.

7a . Food and/or drink may not be consumed on the vehicle without prior arrangement.

8. The cost of repairing any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be made good at the

expense of and paid by the hirer.

9. Each vehicle is under the charge of the driver, whose decision on all points affecting its use must

be accepted as final. The driver is responsible for the safety of his vehicle and passengers, and

must be allowed to decide what conduct and behaviour is permissible.

10. The shortest and most direct route in both directions will be taken unless otherwise specified.

11. No vehicle may carry passengers in excess of the authorised capacity.

12. The company reserves the right to substitute others operators vehicles for its own to carry out

journeys if necessary.

13. The hire charge only provides for the journey as stated overleaf. It may be necessary for the

vehicle to depart after the passengers have alighted, returning at the stated return journey pick-

up time.

14. 15 minutes waiting time is allowed from the return time as stated, after this has expired, an

additional charge of £5 per 15 mins (£10 for vehicles over 16 seats) will be incurred.

Furthermore, it cannot be guaranteed that the vehicle will be able to wait longer than 15 mins

unless prior notice has been given.

15. If the vehicle is left in a heavily soiled condition, a valet charge of £50.00 will be incurred.
